Two shows down, a bunch more to go!
We had an awesome night at Boston College’s Alumni Stadium on Saturday July 2. It was a great way to kick off the drum corps season here in the Northeast and super great to return to the stadium itself. The last time there was a show there was 1984, I believe. It was the last show mom and I saw together as spectators – so there’s a bit of nostalgia in it for me. Wonderful weather – could not have asked for a better night!
Sunday night, July 3, Lynn, MA. This show isn’t the same as the old Manning Bowl, but it does a nice job. The crowd is always a good one and once the sun ducks below the tree line, it’s a good venue to shoot in. Nice to see the North Star Alumni make a good showing on Sunday. There’s a corps the northeast has really missed!
